From a mother and grandmother's perspective, Discover Magical Moments is one of the region’s top Daycare providers. We have flexible drop off and pick up times for parents and offer full and part time child care from 6 weeks to 5 years of age. We hire only the most qualified staff who come to us with years of experience and a wide range of education and expertise. Most staff have been with us for almost 20 years. New staff members have a mandatory 6 month training/mentoring program to complete prior to becoming a permanent staff member.

Our families are very important to us, and we work closely with all persons involved in each child’s life to ensure all needs are met.
Qualified Staff
All of our staff are CPR / First Aid certified as well as trained in OSHA / Blood borne Pathogens, Pandemic Outbreaks, Hand washing, Risk Reduction, Parent Aware Training, SIDS, AHT, Shaken Baby, Medication Administration, Licensing Rule 3, Fire/Tornado drills, health and safety for our child care center, special needs and individual child care plans. The owner has a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and works with other child care centers in a consulting role. She is a member of NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children), and past President of the Southeastern MN Director’s Association where she is still an active member. We also have a Public Health Nurse and a Red Cross Representative on staff.
We Take Pride in Safety and Security
Discover Magical Moments takes pride in its quest for safety and security. We have a large outdoor play area with a state-of-the-art ground covering system. We also have a large indoor playroom / gym / storm shelter. Our outdoor playground includes both a small and large climbing system, playhouse, water table, games area, basketball ring, etc. for many hours of fun outside. When the weather doesn’t cooperate for outdoors, we have the indoor playroom / gym / storm shelter to pick from, with more options of gross motor activities for all ages.
